Semalam pergi interview kat Ikram. Actually I don’t expect to be called for interview this fast neither nor to join back the rat race so soon. Plan nak tunggu si Baby umur setahun baru nak start keje semula.
Punye la beriya study pasal ‘building maintenance’ sebab ade member kat ofis lama yang ex-Ikram updatekan kata diorang maybe tanya pasal tu. Bila pegi, interviewer tu kata memang dia nak orang yang ada background structure, they expect that he or she can come in and immediately ‘run’. There’s no time to learn. They mention about going to Grik to investigate on the collapsed structure. Ni kes building yang collapsed near Tasik Banding tu le…bile tengok my experience mostly in slope/geotech, maybe they don’t believe that I can do it. Dengar nak kene gi outstation pulak, dalam hati dah teringat si Baby…maybe they can read my mind kot….
So kesimpulannya tak dapat le tu…rasa frust jugak..bukan apa sebab dah prepare….
Mr. Hubby dengan anak2 pun ikut sebab senang nanti Si Baby boleh menyusu dalam kereta…. on the way back tu dapat sms daripada jiran (nor-tingkat 2) kata Aci depan rumah dia nak ode kek orange layer….B4 that dia pun ode jugak kek coklat moist….tokey memasak pun ode sbb oven nye rosak…..well at least terubat juga luka dihati because I got something else to concentrate on….
Mula-mula start bake sponge mix dulu….pas tu prepare adunan kek coklat nor…buat utk dia kek coklat moist dgn my favorite topping coklat ….oleh kerana Nor dah bagi lead customer..so decide nak bagi dia ‘complimentary’ gift la iaitu ‘double heart chocolate moist’. Sementara tu sponge mix pun dah masak, oleh kerana dah sebok mengadun kek coklat tu, kek sponge tu tunggu je la untuk dideko kemudian….
Dah siap bake dua2 bijik kek coklat bentuk heart tu, terus buat sos coklatnye then baru le buat orange kastard layer utk kek sponge tu..pening gak… kejap buat tu …kejap buat nih….
Bila bukak je kotak fresh cream yang baru beli kat BWY, brand Anchor tengok2 warna nye dah kuning..expired date blom lagi sampai…tension tul…guna ade lagi lebih fresh cream ‘top ace’ yang buat sbolm ni, bila di mix, tak mau kembang la pulak…masa tu dah kul lebih kurang 2 setengah pagi..terpaksa mix kat dalm bilik supaya tak le bunyi bising sangat … jiran2 sume dah tido…
adoi……tak leh jadi ni …nak pakai buttercream rasanye tak kene la pulak sebab kek nye orange layer…pakai fresh cream campur skit orange layer baru la ngam rasa dia nanti….
Dengan Si Baby lak macam tak lena tido..kejap2 menangis kat katil…Mr. Hubby lak dah lelap kepenatan sebab ari ni bawak kete…tu la tak biasa bawak kete nye pasal…jam lak tu…
tak bole jadi ni…angkat Si Baby letak balik dalam buai letak bawah kipas dekat sket ngan my working table..so kalo dia menguit senang nak enjut….
Last2 siapkan kek nor kul 3 setengah baru tido…kek aci tu tak siap gak…
Pagi esoknye dah siap2 mandi sume..pegi la kedai kek Nova kat Puchong Prima beli lain fresh cream tu….
Sudah nye kek Aci tu siap kul satu tengahari on the 23rd Nov. 07. Itu pun masa buat rose, mixture fresh cream tu macam nak cair…mesti sbb campur dgn orange paste and color….tapi rasanya sedap….
Sib baik Nor bagitau kat Aci tu malam baru kek ready, last2 deliver kat dia kul 5 ptg….
Things to improve next time:
1. When combining two hearts make it one in upward position while the other a little downward position or else it doesn’t clearly shows it is a double heart shape until you mention to the customer
2. Don’t put the whip cream in the freezer when it say so at the label
3. Don’t apply the thin whip cream before applying the thick one cause later it is difficult to smoothen up the whip cream after covering it
4. Don’t put to much flavor emulco in the whip cream, instead put color of your desire, or else after a while the mixture turn out to be a little thin and the design will flow out of order
